Conversion Programming

One of the most important services provided by CardWare comes into play when a
merchant decides to make a conversion from one processor to another. Conversions
have long been something merchants have avoided, even when there’s a better
package, a better fee structure, or other compelling reasons to do so. The reason
is the "hassle" factor, and a fear of lost business, or processing problems.

Not any longer.  CardWare has established a simple merchant conversion process
that is fast, seamless, and free of both hassles – and surprises.  Our “on-time,
on-budget” conversion process has allowed thousands of merchants nationwide
to make processor decisions based on fees and features – instead of fear.

CardWare conversion programming begins with obtaining downloads from the
processor, internal files, or other sources.  Cardware contacts the merchants to begin
conversion and reprogramming.  Then:

1. The merchant receives expert assistance in balancing
   and closing their terminal.
2. CardWare personnel instruct the merchants in configuring the
   terminal for downloading, and initiate the download process.
3. Once the download is complete, CardWare facilitates live test
   transactions that yield a printed receipt when successful.
4. The merchant receives essential training in the new processes
   with emphasis on new settlement procedures, terminal and host
   responses, card acceptance, anti-fraud and security. 

That’s it.  Conversion successful.  Merchant satisfied!
