POS Equipment Repair and Service

Cardware’s POS Equipment Repair Service assures uninterrupted
processing.
Three options tailored to suit individual merchants include:

Bulk POS Equipment Repair by Cardware
or a Qualified Contractor

Cardware technicians service and repair electronic data capture (EDC) devices
made by all major manufacturers, except where precluded by warranty or other
contractual requirement. Whether POS equipment repair is done at Cardware or
another repair facility, devices are tested prior to their return to service.  Average
turn-around time for POS equipment repair is 5-10 business days from receipt;
next business day service is available, too.

EMS – Emergency Management Services

Cardware EMS is an extended service agreement that merchants can activate
within 30 days of receiving new equipment. This POS equipment repair option
provides comprehensive coverage for 36 months.   Devices are swapped-out
with a remanufactured device of the same kind, irrespective of the purchase
date of the defective device.  Cardware EMS covers parts and labor needed to
return the device to working condition and nearly-new appearance, along with
packaging and peripheral items.

This POS equipment repair option covers terminals, printers, pin pads, integrated
terminal / printers, and related peripherals including cords, power packs and cables.
The only exclusions are Act of God, preventable situations and insurable occurrences,
although damage from these causes can be repaired at additional charge.

ANEE (As-Needed Equipment Exchange)

This Cardware POS equipment repair alternative covers repairs to EDC devices not
serviced by Cardware, or as necessary. The malfunctioning device is swapped-out
for a like-kind, remanufactured device, irrespective of the purchase date of the
defective device. It covers parts and labor needed to return the device to working
condition and nearly-new appearance, and has the same few exclusions as EMS.

Cardware provides POS equipment repair that maximizes equipment service life,
minimizes downtime and gives the merchant the best-possible return on
his investment.

This life cycle support is what makes Cardware’s POS Equipment Repair
Service a leading choice for merchants, banks, ISOs, buying groups,
associations – and professional practices.
